So, the past two weeks have been absolutely insane for me. I was involved in an intense, 24/7 hands-on-deck type research course where I didn’t even have Wifi half of the time. You see, it was a functional Ecology module and we were in the forests of Singapore and Malaysia, spearheading projects we almost spontaneously came up with. The course was absolutely fantastic and I had the most fun I’ve ever had throughout my Uni experience. I made some lifelong friends and would absolutely do it all again, even with the bugs and lack of hot water in some parts.
Unfortunately, this also meant that I had absolutely no time to write anything. Now that it’s over, there are also quite a few responsibilities that are creeping up on me as school will be starting again shortly (data analysis, writing reports, my part time job etc.)
With all that in mind, I’m still going to try writing regularly, even if it isn’t as frequent as it used to be when I had nothing to worry about. I still have to finish writing about my exchange after all. Perhaps one post per week or something like that?

Anyway, I just wrote this to remind myself to get back to it. Having hobbies is important. But also, work needs to be done. I’m just trying to find that balance.
Great post 🙂
